BIGG BOSS 5: Are Pooja Bedi and Sky a couple?

The new day brings a new fight. Siddharth Bhadwaj complains that he doesn’t want to follow orders of the new captain, Pooja Misrra. He tells her he will cook lunch with another housemate’s help rather than wash the dishes. Pooja Misrra talks to Amar Upadhyay and Pooja Bedi about it and then agrees to Sid’s request.Pooja Bedi and Sunny Leone chat in the garden and Pooja asks Sunny to take care of Sky once she is out of the house.
Back in the kitchen, Sky tells Siddharth sarcastically that  after the show ends, he wants to fly down to Delhi and meet Sid. Sid replies that he is not scared of Sky and he can come whenever he wants with whomever he wants. The two end up arguing and Sky calls Sid a copy cat. He also repeats Salman Khan’s comments about Sid and wonders aloud how he can be a part of the house after all the humiliation he has suffered. Pooja Bedi walks in and tells Sid not to fight with others so early in the day. The two continue their argument in the garden in front of other housemates. Sid taunts Sky that he has no shows to do while he has a dedicated fan following who looks up to him. He also adds that if Sky crosses the limits, he will reveal to all what Sky had told him about Pooja Bedi. Juhi Parmar and Bedi intervene and try to bring about peace.
Later in the day, Amar Upadhyay and Siddharth discuss Sky and call him gutless. Amar says Sky can only fight with the girls but never dares to take on the guys. The two also claim that Sky has a scheming nature and its high time he stopped all this nonsense. Sid reveals to Amar that Sky had cribbed about him too to Sid. Amar calls Sky a barking dog who has no bite and says that Sky will never do anything when the time comes. They decide they will take their revenge on Sky soon. The two also gossip about Sky’s growing friendship with Pooja Bedi and how the two look like a couple.

Bigg Boss calls Sunny into the confession room. Sunny breaks down saying that she misses her family a lot. She is hiding her true identity from the other housemate as they are too judgemental. Sunny comes out of the room and gets Juhi to sing a song for her.
Siddharth and Pooja Misrra have a huge argument as Siddharth behaves rudely towards Pooja Misrra. She calls Siddharth to her room to discuss the issue, but Sid says he will talk about it only next week. Amar, Shonali Nagrani, Siddharth and Mahek Chahal meet and imitate Sky, Juhi and Pooja Bedi. Amar and Siddharth imitate how Pooja Bedi advises Sky and Mahek imitates the animated conversation that Juhi and Pooja Bedi always have with each other.
As the day ends, Pooja Bedi and Sky hug each other and she tells him they are each other’s best friends and would definitely miss each other. He tells her that she is the sweetest person in the house.

BIGG BOSS 5: Sunny Leone mops floor, Sky taunts Amar

There’s lots happening on Day 51 in the Bigg Boss 5 house

All the housemates are excited when the day begins. They dance to the wake up song. However things take a turn for the worse a little later. Amar Upadhyay is working out in the exercising area when Mahek Chahal, Sky and Juhi Parmar come there too. Sky starts taunting Amar by saying nasty things about his failed career before the show. Amar does not react. Sky then tells him that he will still continue to suffer once he gets out of Bigg Boss 5. Amar still does not react. Sky then mocks the way Mahek speaks. He then insinuates that Amar is having an affair with Shraddha Sharma. Amar finally loses his cool and yells that all the girls in the house are just his friends. Sky then announces that Amar is also seeing Vida as the two were very friendly. Amar gets even angrier and says that there is nothing between him and Vida, and he is a happily married man. After Sky leaves the room, Amar expresses how low and dirty Sky can fall to gain attention and tells everyone that he will just ignore Sky from then onwards.
Later in the day, Sky, Siddharth Bhardwaj and Sunny Leone are seen hanging out near the bathroom area. Sky persuades Sunny to find him a girl just like her. He asks her if she has a single sister who is ready to mingle. Sunny tells him that she has a few single cousins who are also of Indian origin but they are a little picky about their guys. Sky convinces Sunny that he would manage to be picked by her cousin and all she needs to do is help him out by getting them to meet. Sunny smiles and the three walk out of the bathroom area laughing.
Coincidentally, Pooja Misrra is also in the bathroom area during this conversation. While walking out Siddharth requests Pooja Misrra to make breakfast for all the housemates. Pooja Misrra tells Siddharth that she would cook only after having a shower. Siddharth complains to captain Amar, who incidentally, is taking a shower at that time. He instructs Pooja Misrra to cook breakfast first before having a bath. Pooja sulks but she agrees.

Later in the day, Sky talks to Amar in the captain’s room. Sky fakes an apology for his earlier behaviour and starts bitching about Siddharth to him. Sky goes on to call Siddharth’s behavior childish and says his immaturity in dealing with girls is visible. Both Amar and Sky discuss how Siddharth has been switching his loyalties among different groups without realising its consequences. Meanwhile, Sunny, Juhi, Pooja Bedi and Siddharth are seen chilling in the garden area, discussing Sunny and her good looks. Juhi comments that Sunny is perfect for Bollywood as she has a charming face, she is cute and innocent and brings much-needed freshness with her. Everyone agrees with Juhi. Sunny smiles and explains that she would love to work in Bollywood, but she knows it is not easy. The others encourage her by saying that she will learn everything on the job and there is no need for her to worry.
Sunny and Siddharth mop the floor. Bigg Boss announces the weekly task to the housemates. The housemates have a hearty laugh and move on. The day ends on a happy note, where Sunny is admired and complimented by Juhi and Sky for winning all their hearts. Sky assures her that none of them will vote for her nominations because of she is really cute.

Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D’Souza to have a Maharashtrian wedding

But that’s not what the bride-to-be had in mind. The Force actor wanted to walk the aisle on the big day

Ever since Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza admitted their eight-year-long relationship there have been constant speculations about their wedding plans. The Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya couple said it would happen sometime in 2012 but did not confirm the date. However, our birdie says the two actors’ families have agreed on a February wedding and the wedding will take place in a traditional Maharashtrian way. So obviously both Riteish and Genelia are running helter-skelter to wrap up work before the wedding. Though the birdie reveals the bride-to-be is slightly disappointed with the big day plans. Being a Christian, the Force actor dreamed of donning a white gown and walking down the aisle in a church for her wedding. However, now she will dress in a traditional Nawari saree, sport a nath (nose ring) and mundavalya. She is staying optimistic, however, and said in a recent interview, “At the end of the day however, what matters is who you marry and not how.” Aww, cho chweet! Now we know why Riteish is head-over-heels in love with his sweet co-star. By the way, even before the couple acknowledged their relationship they were often spotted together in public places. When they were seen together for the first time after their announcement at a coffee shop, they still maintained their composure just the way they have always done. It seems the wedding ceremony is only for the world, in their hearts and minds they are already Mr & Mrs Deshmukh!

Aamir Khan’s ideal house is an unfulfilled dream

Guess who is house-hunting now? Aamir ‘Perfectionist’ Khan! Here’s the dope on Aamir’s sob story when it comes to buying a house!

One fine day in the year 2008, Aamir Khan decided to buy a dream house…. and he is still hunting for it! Now the common man is well-versed with the difficulties of finding a residence in Mumbai, but what could trouble a star? With so many brokers at your service, finding a house shouldn’t take so long! We tried to find the reason. It seems he has a host of conditions. Firstly, the dream house should be situated in aamchi Mumbai. Secondly, it has to be located in Bandra and beside Sachin Tendulkar’s abode. And thirdly (the most difficult one),  it should be perfect by Aamir Khan’s standards! Dear house-hunter, if you keep roaming all over Mumbai with such a list of conditions, we are sure that your dream house will remain just that, a dream. It’s time to get a bit ‘real’istic about the markets if you are keen on finding a real house. We suggest a crash course on real estate will surely help. Also, while we understand the first and the last difficulty, we are a little lost on why you would want to be Mr Tendulkar’s neighbour. We wonder.

Will Sunny Leone be Sky’s next target on ‘Bigg Boss 5′?

We doubt if that will ever happen, considering Sky has an altercation only with the daring sorts who  raise their voices against him and Ms Leone seems to be too timid and sweet to do that

We wonder what pornstar Sunny Leone’s strategy to remain on the show is. She is playing the ultimate sweet and nice girl at the moment and not revealing much about what she does for a living, in spite of all the prodding from her co- contestants. Sticking to vague answers like “I am a model” and “I’ve done a couple of assignments in Hollywood”, the new member is trying to convince her roomies that she is a girl with a golden heart and her bold profession hasn’t changed her much as a person over the years. Sunny is playing the role of a listener at the moment and is all ears to whoever wants to vent their anger after a violent fight. Recently when Sky, once again, entered the uncivilised mode and started humiliating Shonali Nagrani for some trivial reason just the way he did Mehek Chahal in the past, Sunny gently intruded in between and asked Shonali, “What has Sky done, why are you yelling at him?” Well now that Sky has found a supporter in the sexy babe, we doubt if she is ever going to be the victim of his infuriating behaviour. The guys are in love with the new guest at the moment. Siddharth and Sky are serenading her with their amazingly sweet pick up lines. Little does Sunny know that very soon she is going to transform into yet another mad member of this awful mad house.

Can ‘Bigg Boss’ be made into a good Bollywood film?

Akshay Kumar definitely thinks so. The Desi Boyz actor recently claimed that he wants to make a film on the concept of Bigg Boss– only this one will be scripted like any other film

Fourteen actors will play characters stuck in a house for a TV show, till one of them is murdered. And then the quest begins to try and figure out who the murderer is before someone else gets hurt. It’s not a totally new concept – Dhund, Gumnaam and Khamosh have all had similar plotlines, but none of them revolve around a TV show. While we agree that Bigg Boss will make for interesting movie viewing, we also wonder which other reality show (except Kaun Banega Crorepati) can be translated on to the big screen…
Indian Idol / Just Dance: The perfect vehicle for a relative newcomer to play an underdog who against all odds goes on to become a singing/ dancing sensation. Maybe even add a boodhi maa, andhi behen (elderly mother, blind sister) touch to it.
Live My Life: A movie star meets his fan. While she gets a glimpse of the gritty realities behind the camera, he gets back in touch with the real world. Of course, they have to fall in love too. Where’s the fun otherwise?
The Khan Sisters: Two hot girls who have no qualms revealing their secret desires and showing off their figures. So what if Girlfriend didn’t work? Bring together Poonam Pandey and Sherlyn Chopra, have them do what they do best, and you don’t have to worry about empty theatres at all.
The Amazing Race: It hits all the key notes of a Bollywood film – great locations, romance, potential for comedy, emotional scenes and songs. With road trips being all the rage after Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, you can’t deny it’s perfect.
Jhalak Dikhla Jaa: So many actors are aspiring to be item girls nowadays. Why not have all of them come together for a film with only item numbers? Add a wafer-thin plot to keep critics happy and call the entire film a musical!
Swayamvar: This one has loads of potential – especially if it’s a female who has to choose a spouse. It can have everything – love, sex, deception, broken hearts, sad songs and a happy ending where love will triumph. Isn’t that great?

Ready: A critical view

While Sallu bhai was riding high on the success of Ready, the critics didn’t sound too happy. Find out what the critics said, and tell us what you think about Salman Khan’s Ready!

Mayank Shekhar, Hindustan Times: One Ram Pothineni plays hero in the original Ready. Salman is at present the closest North India might get to a Rajinikanth. He doesn’t play a role. The character plays Salman. Sometimes he doesn’t bother lip-synching to his own lines, wanders around disinterestedly, often looks straight to the camera that’s as much in love with this casualness.  Salman’s re-grounded masala (Wanted, Dabanng) is still novel for the time being. He walks into Gaiety to briefly say ‘hi’ to his audiences. There’s a special NGO screening for the underprivileged (like me). This is the pocket where Salman’s truly King Khan: whistles, roars, hooting never stop. The mayhem’s hard to describe. It’s a pop-cultural experience all right, and fully worth it. Unfortunately, there’s also an entire film to sit through. Ah, my neck hurts!
Kaveree Bamzai, India Today: The film is pretty much a showcase for what Salman Khan does best-which is fight, dance, charm the girls, and laugh lazily at everyone. An assortment of ugly relatives, even uglier villains and a plot that makes no sense at all. None of it matters. Salman Khan is deep in the middle of the greatest love affair of his life-with his audience. And one hopes it lasts longer than his past girlfriends.
Rajeev Masand: To describe this film as paisa vasool or time pass is to confess that you really don’t have a life. Because apart from two energetically filmed songs – Character dheela hai and Dhinka chika – this film offers little by way of entertainment. Salman Khan fans, I assure you that reruns of his Dus Ka Dum episodes on Youtube are more likely to make you smile than this agonizingly boring film that wastes the charm of its immensely charismatic star.
Nikhat Kazmi, TNN: Yup, bahut mazaa aaya. But only if you set aside all pretensions of going for a regular, mind-teaser movie. The rest of the characters too are all a crazy bunch. The umpteen men, women and boys — you lose count of them — speak silly, speak shrieky. The music (Pritam) plays at deafening decibel levels. The canvas and the colours of the film are garish and loud. And there isn’t a moment of repose to allow you to think…. Go celebrate the cornball comic display by Salman Khan. You won’t get bored.
